The Importance of Scrap Sector
The scrap and scrap sector should be considered together with the recycling sector.
Wastes taken as scrap are recycled or recycled. Recycling should be considered as the first step of the recovery system. The collection and separation of the processed products starts with scrap and scrap. Scrap also means materials that can be recycled or recycled as terms. It should not be confused with waste, since every scrap has a certain monetary value by the scrap dealer. Scrap material recovery; means the separation and re-use of solid wastes. The main objectives of the recycling or scrap program are to reduce the volume of waste to be removed and to protect natural resources and to reduce environmental pollution. A wide range of technologies and programs are being developed, from consumer-oriented activities to large-scale machinery to modernize the scrap-making sector. In these programs, the development of consumer awareness should be considered as an important goal.
The scrap recovery program or the scrap sector generally involves the separation of material (both in its source and in the total waste), the processing of materials, the marketing and the sale of the recycled materials, and the transformation of these materials into products made of secondary materials. These operations are long and busy. Collected according to the type and value of each scrap collected, accumulation, classification, recovery of these jobs are jobs that require labor. At the same time, people who do this work must know the materials well. Developed or developing countries need to research and apply the methods of recycling or reusing materials with economic value in order to benefit from natural resources in the long term and for longer periods.
Rapidly developing technology also increases the amount of products that are rapidly aging and falling into scrap condition. It is considered as scrap in houses and electronic products that are out of use. These unused scrap products are distinguished by the well-known scrap dealers. Recycling and re-use of materials that can be used as iron, steel, copper, lead, paper, plastic, rubber, glass and similar scrap will prevent the depletion of our natural resources. On the other hand, it will cause the amount of foreign currency to be paid to the scrap to meet the needs of our country in our country. The recovery of these scrapes will greatly save energy used.
One of the above-mentioned gains of the scrap and scrap sector is the substantial reduction in the amount of solid waste to be removed and thus the significant prevention of environmental pollution. It is a great advantage to reduce the volume and volume of solid waste, especially for countries that do not have enough space to eliminate solid waste regularly.
According to research, the energy spent for the recovery of metals is much less than the energy required to remove metals from the mines. Namely; The energy required to make 1 tonne of aluminum from recycled metal is 4% of the energy consumed by the aluminum. Likewise, the energy required to recover the copper compositions is only 13% of the energy required to remove this metal from the mines, and 19% for the iron / steel. (Lyons and Tonkin, 1975). In the same way, 17 trees are recovered by saving 11 tons of used paper, and 4100 kilowatt hours of energy is saved, which is the average amount of electricity a family uses in a year.
Recycling of the materials we use as scrap in the scrap sector is of great importance with the above mentioned benefits. It is of great importance for our country that the scrap sector, which is despised and ignored, is transformed into a modern and technological structure and an important sector with various legal arrangements.
At the same time, the first step of the waste management plan of scrap is disposed at home and workplaces. The first step of waste or scrap must be separated at the source. This is the first step, both easy and inexpensive. The waste material for us is the non-waste scrap for scrap scrap. For this purpose, in order to separate the product from the source, the awareness raising activities should be carried out. The following types of scrap are defined. These scrapes can be found in trace amounts or in very large quantities on very separate products. Scrap material from a number of materials that we do not recognize are scraping as secondary or primary products. Many people take X-rays due to diseases. We keep these films in our homes for a certain period of time and then throw them in the trash. In fact, scrap dealers from that film get a great deal of silver in recovery with proper techniques. This is presented here as a different example. For us, thousands of products called waste are used for recycling.
